The IPL auction event has been happening in Bangalore since its birth. But this time the auction event of IPL 2020 will be moved from Bangalore to Kolkata. It will be the first time when IPL auction going to be held outside the Bengaluru city.
As per reports auction of IPL 2020 schedule to be held on 19th December 2010 at West Bengal, Kolkata. The Kolkata will be the place, but it is not cleared where the auction event exactly takes place. Trading Widow For Auction Event
The trading window for auction is currently open and it will be closed on 14th November 2019. The BCCI informed about the auction window closing dates to all franchises of the IPL 2020 tournament. The auction trading window allows the franchise to transfer players as their wish. The player’s swap or transfer procedure should be completed within the trading window closing date. After the trading window time frame remaining player from the swapping process will go for bid auction.
In this edition of IPL, BCCI fixed the maximum cap of INR 82 crores to each IPL team for players bidding. The team will also be permitted to use extra INR 3 crores that were saved from the previous auction.
