South African coach Mark Boucher expressed his opinion regarding players who pull out their name from the series against Pakistan. Some South African cricket teams did not play in the Pakistan ODI series due to IPL 2021.

As per Mark Boucher’s concern, IPL will give more opportunities to the players to prepare for the upcoming T20 World cup. Many like David Miller, Quinton de Kock, and more SA cricketers have withdrawn from the ODI series against Pakistan to play in the IPL 2021.

South Africa Vs Pakistan Series

A South Africa Vs Pakistan Series is started on 27 April in South Africa. It is a Pakistan tour for south Africa. The series included the ODI match and four T20I matches. All the matches will be played in the different stadiums in South Africa.

South Africa Vs Pakistan ODI series has been started on 27 April 2021. The second and third matches of the series will be played on 4 April and 7 April 2021. The T20 international is scheduled to be played from 10 April to 16 April. 

Mark Boucher Reaction on Players Not Playing in Pak Series

The South African team coach Mark Boucher said ”We knew these players would not be available and we prepared accordingly. There is an agreement between the BCCI and Cricket South Africa to release players for the IPL. These players are going to India where they have to play against strong teams in a great competition. Boucher added, “They will be benefitted from playing at different venues. All the players will play against the players they face in the T20 World Cup.” If these players were going on leave then we could have raised questions but they are not going on leave. Players are going to take part in a great and challenging competition. 

The entire 14 the session of IPL will be held in six different venues in India. The great T20 league is set to be kick-off from 9 April 2021. The first match of IPL 2021 will be played between Mumbai Indians(MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The final match is scheduled to be held on 30 May 2021 at Ahmedabad. A total of 8 different franchise teams will be played in IPL 2021. All the IPL matches of forthcoming IPL is set to be played in only 6 different venues due to health and safety guidelines.

All players from the world wish to play the IPL. The foreign players are already landed in India to join their team. Let you know that the T20 World cup will be played this year. Therefore IPL 2021 could be a great opportunity to get better prepared for the players.
