Do you remember Mr. Shanthakumaran Nair Sreesanth?. A successful right-arm Indian pace bowler. He was banned for a lifetime for serious allegations of spot fixing in 2013. But hopefully, the darkness of Sreesanth seems to be cleared soon.

Why Sreesanth Punishment Reduced?

Because the punishment of Sreesanth spot fixing  has been decided to reduce. So the paceman from Kerala is about to return for 22 yards. On Tuesday, the Apex Court revoked the spot fixing lifetime ban and asked the Board(BCCI) to reconsider the case.

Sreesanth was alleged for Spot-fixing scandal with three (3) others cricketers in IPL 2013.

Then after the long legal hearing, Sreesanth able to proved that he was not involved in Spot-fixing. But the BCCI did not allow him to play the matches. So Sreesanth had to stay away from the Cricket for so long time.

Now hopefully the darkness of fate began to fall. Dinesh Jain has reduced Sisanth’s life-time ban to seven(7) years only. Therefore punishment of Sreesanth spot fixing is set to expire in next year in September. In 2013  disciplinary committee of BCCI ordered to Sreesanth for life long ban. Then the whole case was re-examined by DK Jain. Finally, DK Jain decided to reduce Sreesanth spot fixing life ban punishment to seven (7) years of punishment.
